Best time to visit Australia
Like the USA, the country is immense. Between the mountains, coasts and tropical forests Australia’s climate is truly varied. Given the size of the country, in theory it should always be nice somewhere, so everything depends on the region you want to visit. Here are a few comments about the two areas that you are most likely to tour.

This region only really has two seasons – hot, wet summers and hot, dry winters. The best season is September to October due to the mild heat and the low level of precipitation, but you can visit this region throughout the Australian winter, from June to October.
Visiting Southeast Australia (New South Wales)

The climate is temperate. Cold and damp in the winter, hot and dry in the summer. The temperatures never go too high and the climate is fairly mild. But because of the rain, the ideal period for a visit is between September and December.
